Di Stéfano is widely regarded as Real Madrid's greatest player, with a remarkable total of 308 goals across 396 games for Real Madrid. He was born on July 4, 1926, in Buenos Aires, Di Stéfano became a football legend because of his unmatched versatility, sharp vision, and leadership qualities both on and off the field.

His arrival at Real Madrid in 1953, marked the beginning of an unprecedented era of success. He played a key role in Real Madrid’s dominance in European football, leading the team to five consecutive European Cup victories between 1956 and 1960. His impact wasn’t limited to scoring, as he helped shape the team’s winning mentality, a legacy that continues to this day. Alfredo Di Stéfano, Stéfano's individual achievements include winning the Ballon d'Or twice (1957 and 1959) along with the prestigious Super Ballon d'Or in 1989.

Throughout his career, Di Stéfano made key contributions on the international stage, representing both Argentina and Spain. After retiring, his influence on football remained significant through coaching and as Real Madrid’s honorary president until his death in 2014.
